Welcome to Pomona BB House – A bed and breakfast Guesthouse located in the quiet and neat suburb of Pomona in Harare. We are at 550 Flamingo Way in Pomona which is five minutes away from the popular Sam Levy’s Village in Borrowdale. We are next to Pomona Industrial Park and along Harare Drive. Guest will have easy access to the main Harare City and the adjacent suburbs of Vainona, Borrowdale, Mount Pleasant and Groombrigde. The Borrowdale Office Park, Borrowdale Race Course, the Zimbabwe Open University and the University of Zimbabwe are easily accessible from the Guesthouse. We are able to offer on request group options and we can host up to 21 guest sharing. Please contact us for rates and bookings for Group options.

Pomona BB House has seven bedrooms which are all ensuite and with colour TV, Fibre Internet, WIFI and radio/alarm clock. It has seven bedrooms made up of three suites and five standard rooms. The three suites and two standard rooms are in the main building and the other two standard rooms are in the independent and self-contained cottage. The suites and rooms are as follows

The Aluminium Conference Room

Pomona BB House also has a conference room which can seat 10 participants. This is an ideal venue for board and private meetings, interviews, team building and small group training sessions. The conference room is named Aluminum which is a lightweight silvery white metal made up of mainly bauxite and is the most abundant metallic element in Earth's crust as well as the most widely used nonferrous metal.

Eating Out and Ordering Food

Guest are welcome to go out and enjoy eating and dining at the Popular Sam Levy Village. The Sam Levy Village has many fine restaurants and food outlets like Nandos, Pizza Inn, Steers, Ocean Basket, Pizza Hut, St Elmo's, Rocomamas, Café Nush, etc. Most restaurants have delivery services. Guests can also order food from other restaurants outside the village like Gava. Sam Levy Village also has bars and liquor outlets like Pablo's and Pariah State. Contact staff for more information.

BBQ/ Parties and Functions Gazebo

Guests can enjoy a braai, party and or sundowner in order lush garden and by the pool. We also host private functions and parties for all age groups. This includes birthday parties for kids and we can arrange for jumping castles, clowns etc

The main house has two lounges with smart TV and DSTV for guest and visitors. The self-contained cottage has a lounge, colour TV and DSTV for guest as well.

Walking distance to everything downtown. Beautiful rooms, great ambiance in the hotel dining room and bar. We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food, although others looked like they were enjoying it! We will come again!
